SAMSUNG TV NOT TURNING ON RED LIGHT BLINKING

If your Samsung TV’s red light is blinking and the TV is not turning on, it might be because there is something wrong with the power supply. Something is not right and not as the way as it should be.

You should check the power source and the cable that connects the TV with the power source. Here are some solutions you can try to diagnosis the issue.

TV RESTART
The ‘TV not turning on but the power LED is blinking’ problem happens due to a power failure on the television power zone. It may be something there that is interfering with the way of power to reach to the TV’s power IC, or the TV is running too much that leaded to power IC become warmer than usual. 


The best and primary way to fix the issue is to restart the television. To restart it, unplug the power cord from the mains power outlet for at least 10 minutes, then press and hold the power button for 60 seconds. Now plug the TV back into the power outlet and turn it on.

POWER RESET THE SAMSUNG TELEVISION
If the restart doesn’t work, you will need to power reset the TV to fix the ‘not turning on’ issue. To do so, follow the below steps:
Unplug the power cord from the TV or the power outlet and leave it for at least 1 hour.


Then press and hold the power button (on the television set, not the remote) for at least 60 seconds and keep holding the power button while plugging back the tv cord in for another 60 seconds after. 
And then, plug back the TV power cord directly into the power outlet, bypassing any power strip or surge protectors.

  • Press and Hold the [menu] and [vol-] button located on the side of your Samsung TV press the [power] button on the side of the TV (NOT remote), while holding these.
  • Now you will see the Blue light comes ON and stays ON.
  • Wait 10 seconds then release the [menu] and [vol-] buttons.
  • Now you will have to wait for another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear. If you still face the problem, don’t mind Googling ‘TV repair near me.’

UPDATE YOUR SAMSUNG TV FIRMWARE
Sometimes the TV gets too old and we don’t recall when we update the TV firmware last time. Firm ware is a very important thing to run the software on any device, be it TV or computers. 


If you don’t update your device’s firmware regularly, you might face the software problem on the TV and that can drive the Television to go off time and time again. So, update your TV’s firmware and try restarting the TV again.


CALL A TV REPAIRMAN
